The internet has changed all of our lives, particularly our children’s. For parents and carers this opens up a whole new world of things to be aware of.
On Tuesday 13th February we will be holding an Internet Safety Afternoon at 2.45pm in school. The event will be hosted by Deb Lyons and I, who works for Bolton ICT Centre and is very knowledgeable about internet safety and the importance of it. I would be thrilled if as many parents as possible could come along. The event will last for approximately 45mins and will finish in time for you to collect your child/children.
Internet safety for all children is a real priority in our school, our aim is to keep all children safe and Deb will advise on some simple ways in which we as a school and you can do this.
Refreshments will be available. Please feel free to bring small children and other members of your family who would benefit from hearing about the importance of internet safety. I look forward to seeing you there!
